Jakub Vraspír, CEO of Merchantee, spent most of his career in consulting companies where he focused on expansion, setting up sales strategies, and launching new products and services to the market in the enterprise segment. One such project was supporting the online store Mall.cz in building the first online marketplace in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
Thanks to the combination of previous experience from data-driven projects, knowledge of the e-commerce market, and the strong growing trend of online marketplaces across the EU, the idea to build Merchantee was born. Merchantee is a SaaS co-pilot that helps online merchants comprehensively manage sales on the largest online marketplaces from one platform by connecting precise business data from marketplaces with product data from online merchants. Based on this, it offers smart machine learning-powered tools in areas such as Go-To-Market, market monitoring, dynamic pricing, market benchmarking, product promotion, and other functions developed to maximize success on online marketplaces.
